Baby It's Cold Outside

Winter Wonderland

Sunday December 2nd the Snoqualmie Valley got about a foot of snow. We were out at the house on Saturday and this is what it looked like - sunny and nice.
Yeah - the fireplace is framed:)
Looks like we may need to get those doors after all...
The wind blew the snow all the way into the kitchen

Enjoying the Front Porch

Doesn't get much better than this!

Yahoo!!

Got Windows...?

The windows are in and the roof is on! This week pretty much felt like Christmas:) You can also see the beginnings of our front porch and the front deck.

The pointy side is up!

Who knew roof trusses could be so exciting!

The Power Pole...

And the man who made it happen. Mike worked really hard to get our temporary power pole set-up - he basically rewired it all by himself. Last week it passed the L&I inspection and Puget Sound Energy gave it a thumbs up and we now have power! Yeah - no more generator!

Our Views

Some interior framing

And a Second Floor...

Rear view of the house. First floor left to right: kitchen window, sliding door (there will be a deck soon). Second Floor: Master bath windows, guest bath window, 3rd bedroom window.

The trusses were delivered and they have started rolling them up...won't be long and we will have a roof!

From left to right on the bottom floor: Living room windows, Front door, Family Room windows and french doors. Second Floor: bedroom windows, hallway windows, master bedroom windows.
